    Lora Hanna is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a master's degree in clinical social work from the University of Chicago. Her post-graduate training includes brief, solution-focused approaches from the Chicago Center for Family Health and the Family Therapy Institute of Columbus.

    Lora has received her certification in Interactive Guided Imagery (IGI)sm from the Academy for Guided Imagery in Santa Monica, California. IGIsm is a deeply therapeutic process where the guide assists the client in learning to access and utilize insights and solutions that exist in their own unconscious imagery. This process can lead to profound psychological and physiological change while simultaneously educating and empowering the client.

    Lora completed a comprehensive training program at the Personal Growth School of Hypnotherapy in Fairview Park, Ohio and is a certified hypnotherapist. Lora is also a Level One iRest (Integrative Restoration) meditation teacher. iRest is a meditation practice based on the ancient traditions of Yoga Nidra and adapted to suit modern life. Practiced regularly, iRest can help you relax deeply as well as connect with the wisdom and healing capabilities of your body and mind.

    Lora has over 28 years of helping people make significant, positive changes in their lives. She has worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, outreach, juvenile probation, private business, and public schools. For ten years, Lora provided oncology counseling and mind-body services to cancer patients and survivors at the Integrative Care Department at the Bing Cancer Center, a part of the OhioHealth network. She currently has a private psychotherapy practice in Columbus where she works with adults.
